FAQ
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY JEWELRY?
Our pieces are all limited in quantity and delicate due to the handmade nature of each piece. To best care for your jewelry, here’s what we recommend:
-
Avoid wearing your jewelry in the shower, ocean, or pool and limit contact with perfumes and lotions. Avoid exposing your jewelry to excessive humidity or excessive direct sunlight.
-
Avoid banging your jewelry on table tops or against any other hard surfaces.
-
Pack and store your jewelry with care (avoid throwing it in the bottom of your bag).
-
Our pieces are made to last, however, when they are handled without adequate care (excessive dropping, improper storage, extreme wear and tear) they are more likely to show wear over time.
Our gold filled chains are high quality and will not tarnish, peel or rust. Gold filled jewelry can handle getting wet however, to prolong its beauty and overall longevity, here's what we recommend:
-
Put on your jewelry AFTER applying perfumes, sunscreens & lotions. Chemicals and water can shorten the lifespan of gold filled jewelry as it is not solid gold
-
Avoid wearing in pools & hot tubs
-
Clean your gold filled jewelry with a soft cloth or mild soap & water
Polymer Clay Pieces
-
Due to their handmade nature, patterns, colors and textures will vary slightly with each piece. Earrings are lightweight and durable, though they will break if mishandled. Clay can be cleaned gently with mild soap and water, and metal pieces with soft cloth.
